Galaxy Macao announced that it will focus on services in the non-casino sector in its ongoing Phase 2 investment project. This phase will target middle-class people in inland China with shopping facilities, restaurants, entertainment facilities, and exhibition/convention services.
Galaxy Macao held a press conference on the 31st and revealed the second phase of the project, including a facility that cost a total of $5.55 billion, and the total space will double to 1.1 million square meters when a new extension is made to the holiday complex under construction by Galaxy Macao.
In the second phase, the accommodation will have six major hotels with more than 4,000 rooms, including rooms, suites and villas. There will also be a space for exhibitions, conventions, and banquets. Performance halls, restaurants, bars, and additional dining options will be added along with a fashion store for shopping.
