[Asian Games] Korea Shooting, Bronze Medal in Women’s Rifle 3-Position/25m Pistol Team Event
Lee Eun-seo (Seosan City Hall), Lee Gye-rim (Damyang County Office),
Sang-hee Sang (Armed Forces Athletic Corps) teamed up to win a bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle 3-position team event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
Women’s 50m Rifle 3-Position Team Event
They ranked third in the women’s 50m rifle 3-position team event held at the Puyang Inhu Sports Center in Hangzhou, China on the 27th with a total of 1,756 points,
following China (1,773 points) and India (1,764 points).
In the women’s 50m rifle 3-position team event,
Korea won a 토토사이트 silver medal following China in four consecutive competitions from Busan in 2002 to Incheon in 2014,
then won a bronze medal in this competition held again after nine years.
There was no team event held at the 2018 Jakarta/Palembang Games.
China has won all nine team competitions in this event since the 1986 Seoul Games.
Lee Eun-seo
Lee Eun-seo, who teamed up with Park Ha-jun (KT) and won a bronze medal in the mixed 10m air rifle event on the 26th,
won her second medal of the competition.
In the rifle 3-position team competition, the ranking is determined by adding up the results of the individual competition finals,
where a total of 60 shots are fired: 20 from the knee (shooting from the knees), 20 from the prone position (shooting while standing).
Eunseo Lee scored 590 points, Bae Sanghee scored 586 points, and Gye-rim Lee scored 580 points.
In the finals at 1 p.m., where the top eight players from the finals will advance to compete for individual medals,
Eun-seo Lee will advance with an overall record of 5th place and challenge for an additional medal.
Bae Sang-hee placed 9th overall, but with three Chinese players among her top eight, she advanced to the finals.
Only two people per country can participate in the finals.
Korea also won 1,742 points in the women’s 25m pistol team event,
in which Eun-ji Shim (Hwaseong City Hall), Ji-in Yang (Korea National Sport University), and Ran-ah Kim (Donghae City Hall) participated,
followed by India (1,759 points) and China (1,756 points).
Following this, he brought home a bronze medal.
