Yoo Hae-ran ranked 20th in the women’s golf world rankings announced on the 23rd, up two notches from last week.
Yoo Hae-ran, the LPGA Tour’s rookie of the year award, sought her second win at the Dana Open last week, but came in second, one stroke behind Thailand’s Zaneti Wannassen. Although she missed the championship, she broke the season’s best record and ranked 20th in the world.
Ko Jin-young, who will participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics, ranked third, Yang Hee-young fourth, and Kim Hyo-joo 13th. Nellie Korda and Lilia Bou (U.S.) remained in first and second place, respectively.
Yoo Hae-ran is trying to dispel her regret for being the runner-up at the Dana Open at the CPKC Women’s Open. The CPKC Women’s Open will be held at Earl Grey Golf Club (par 72) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for four days from Saturday (local time). She tied for 41st at the event last year.
Four Korean players, Lee Mi-na (2005), Ryu So-yeon (2014), Park Sung-hyun (2017), and Ko Jin-young (2019), have won the championship. Ko Jin-young tried to regain her supremacy in four years last year, but lost to Meghan Kang of the U.S. after extra time.메이저놀이터
