At the Shinhan East Sea Open golf tournament, South Korea’s Go Gun-taek won his third title of the season, beating Thailand’s Kong Wattmai in a playoff.
Trailing Kongwatmai of Thailand by one shot on the final 18th hole, Ko’s wedge shot landed right next to the pin.
A birdie here sent the match to a playoff, and the odds were stacked against him on the second shot of the first overtime.
Goh’s iron shot found the left rough, leaving Kongwatmai in the penalty area with 254 meters to go for a two-on.

Kongwatmai makes a par putt to stay in the match, but Ko calmly sinks a birdie putt to end the match.
Go Gun-taek became the first player in five years to win three titles in a season since Park Sang-hyun in 2018 and took home a first-place prize of 252 million won.
At the KLPGA KB Financial Star Championship, 먹튀검증 Park won her first career major and her third win of the season.
